Robin works as the vice president of player development at a casino. She works during the day while her husband, Josh, watches their daughter, Skylar. Josh likes fishing, golf, baseball and the New Orleans Saints. He works very long nights, also at the casino, and spends his days in the family room with Sky. He is constantly telling Robin that the room is too stark, and not as comfortable as he'd like it to be. Robin really wants to give Josh a warm and cozy space because she feels he deserves it after all the hours he logs in working and looking after the baby. The two have similar tastes, but not enough time or energy to bring the room to life. She wants to make it the perfect place for her husband and daughter to hang out and watch Elmo, or for a few of his buddies to come over and watch the game.

It was a tough task to get our stay-at-home dad out of the house for two days. Luckily, his friend Ben was available to be our accomplice. Ben told Josh that he won a free night in Boston from a local radio contest and wanted him to come. Josh didn't need much convincing, since he's always up for a fun time out with friends. Little does he know that his wife Robin is sweating it out in their house while he's living it up in Beantown.

Designer Lauren Lake has lots in store for Robin and Josh. After seeing the beautiful trees and foliage that surround the house, Lauren was inspired to create a serene green lounge. She picked out some really relaxing greens for the walls, designed storage units to hide away the toys and came up with a way to bring Josh's fave football team into the dé with fleur-des-lis curtain tiebacks and an inventive piece of wall art.

Robin and Josh also really hate that the couches slope down and are uncomfortable to sit on. Lauren was able to bolster the existing frame and slipcover, and add a bunch of new comfy pillows. She's brought texture into the room with great bamboo blinds and leather accents, and enlisted our carpenters, Leslie and Andrew, to transform her boring table into a funky ottoman that also stores more toys.

As easy as it was to get Josh out of the house, it's really difficult to keep him out. When the night's over, how do we keep him and Ben on the road and out of our hair? With so much work and only 48 hours, it will be a real challenge to get everyone on the same page and on schedule. What will Josh think when he returns to his brand-new living room? Watch and find out.
