Sisters Laurin and Tara know how much mom Pam loves entertaining in her kitchen, a room that most Italian moms feel is the heart of the home. However, daughter Laurin feels the kitchen is old fashioned and in dire need of a makeover. Designer John Bruce and the While You Were Out team face a massive challenge with the enormous number of outdated cabinets, and no time is wasted and they tackle it head on. First to go are the 36 doors and drawers, a huge task in itself. Will sisters Laurin and Tara approve of the modern look and wild color scheme John chooses?

Pam considers herself a bit of a wine connoisseur; so while her kitchen is brought into the 21st Century, what better place to send her to than the Brandywine Valley, home of some of the finest wines. It's Pam's birthday and boyfriend Rob has the perfect excuse to get her away from home. It doesn't take fun, wine-loving Pam long to be caught on camera not only tasting some of the premium vintages Pennsylvania has to offer, but also getting down and dirty grape stomping. Meanwhile, her daughters and the WYWO team work hard to create a kitchen any chef or wine expert would be proud of. Watch out for an incredible room transformation!
