When the While You Were Out team was called in to design a room for fireman Bud, they didn't know that their work was going to be judged by a skilled carpenter who built his own house. But that is exactly what they faced when asked by Bud's wife Maria to turn an upstairs pool room into a fireman's retreat.
Designer Chayse Dacoda is known for her use of bold colors and fanciful designs but could she design a room where a firefighter and his friends could relax and be comfortable?
Just to add to the jeopardy, Bud was spending the two days away only minutes down the road at his firehouse. His wife Maria warned the team that even with the participation of everyone at the firehouse (and seemingly half the town's population!) she couldn't promise to keep him away from home for two whole days. Show motto: "Keep your eyes peeled for a red pick-up truck heading up the driveway and then — PANIC!"
