Nicholas, a Buffalo radio DJ, wants to make his partner, Meghan, feel at home in his Buffalo house. She moved from the Bahamas to be with Nicholas, and has always missed the sunshine, beaches and palm trees. Nicholas wanted to repay her sacrifice by turning a spare bedroom in the house into a luxurious, warm and exotic spa room. Cue the While You Were Out team, who arrange to send Meghan for a two day break at the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas while they move in and get working.

Under the creative eye of designer Mark Montano, the bedroom is transformed into an oasis of luxury where Meghan and Nicholas can escape the daily grind. With Egyptian hieroglyphics, statues, an indoor water feature and innovative carpentry, the spa room is a retreat worthy of the Pharoahs. Meghan is in for the shock of her life when she gets home and not just because her spare bedroom has been given a stunning make-over — Nicholas has got another surprise in store. It's a WYWO first and here's a clue: you made need to have the Kleenex on hand!
