The WYWO team was in Tucson helping Leah surprise her police officer husband, Steven, with a well-designed room for him and their year-old son to hang out and play. The current playroom is chaotic; it's so full of toys there's barely space for a game of tiddlywinks! Leah wants it to be multi-functional — a room in which Steven can both work and play. That's the task for Mark Montano and team.

Steven is a DIY fanatic. So guess how we got him away? We sent him to the Home Depot in Phoenix on the pretext that he'd won a competition to get some DIY training from the experts. What a delightfully sneaky twist that while Steven's having the time of his life honing his carpentry skills, our team of carpenters are having the time of their lives transforming his back room. That is if they can get past the fighting.
