The WYWO team really had to fine tune their fibbing skills to surprise this homeowner — he's a detective!
Karen and her husband, Harem, have a home in Virginia, but Harem has stayed behind in New Jersey to keep his job as a detective until he retires from the force. Karen — who's the weepiest, happiest and most excitable homeowner we've ever had on
WYWO — loves and appreciates Harem for being so dedicated to his family. Her hardworking husband faithfully comes home every weekend (a round trip of over 10 hours in the car!), and Karen wants to give him a comfortable living room where he can relax with his family and feel truly at home.
With a flourish of beautiful designs, designer Mark Montano wins Karen over with his plans for creating a "comfortable caravan" for a traveling man. Hard at work are Evan, Andrew and Ali — but will an overnight thunderstorm and a lot of wet wood dampen their spirits?
While Harem thinks he is being filmed for a documentary about being a detective, the
WYWO team is keeping tabs on his every move. A veteran in his field, there's every chance in the world that Harem could crack this case wide open and surprise us all. Tune in to catch this case being solved!
