Set sail on a design adventure with Capt. Chayse Dacoda, who's leading the WYWO team to a surprise reveal for the homeowner and viewers on this episode.
Tears well up in Lisa's eyes when she speaks about her mother, Marie. Marie has been there for Lisa through the most trying times of her life. And when Lisa's health took a turn for the worst, Marie took Lisa and her two young girls back into her home. Marie is a dedicated mother and grandmother who works over 70 hours a week, yet still finds time to put the family first. Lisa can't find sufficient means to express how grateful she is for her mother's unwavering support, so she has invited the WYWO team to come say thanks for her — by way of making over the basement family room.
But Chayse has the upper hand: she's the only one who knows the full design theme and she's only showing clues. Not only is Lisa unaware of Chayse's plans, but Evan has to guess what Chayse has up her sleeve! If carpenters Jason and Ali know anything, they aren't telling the cameras!
Marie and her two grandchildren are away in Mystic, Conn., relaxing and spending quality time together. But back home, it's anything but peaceful as the design comes together piece by piece. It's a puzzle all the way around. Let's hope the family room is finished before Marie gets home on Day Two.
