WYWO
Seekonk: Beijing Bedroom
small text
large text

Original Airdate: Oct. 13, 2004

Host:
Evan Farmer

Designer:
Mark Montano

You've never seen a bedroom like this one! Imagine a massive four-poster waterbed next to a humongous hot tub. Mary and Jim have endured this '70s throwback bedroom for the last 20 years, but their daughter Jennifer wants to erase this ugly history with the help of Mark Montano and the WYWO crew. Jennifer is looking to surprise her mother with the help of her father, Jim, who has some ideas of his own.

Before he whisked Mary away, Jennifer's dad left a long list of what he wants to have changed in the room and Mark's design includes, well, absolutely nothing on Jim's list! Mark plans on turning the couple's huge waterbed into a Chinese pagoda and painting the walls a mixture of pink and magenta. But Jennifer descends into a world of fear and doubt as she sees the room turn into her worst nightmare. Convinced her parents will hate the design, Jennifer prepares Evan and the team for a disastrous reveal.
