Every night is girls' night for Wade Briggs - with three daughters and a loving wife, how can it not be? This devoted husband and father has happily let the ladies in his life take over the house. Such generosity of spirit is typical of Wade and more than enough justification in anyone's eyes for calling in the
WYWO crew to give him a room of his own.
Celeste and Wade have known each other their entire lives. They grew up just two houses apart and now live right outside Houston with their daughters. Celeste works in marketing, which translates to a lot of time spent away from home traveling on business. Wade, who works in heavy equipment sales, is often called upon to fulfill the role of both mother and father; it's a job that includes everything from taking the girls to their ballet lessons and attending recitals to changing diapers.
Celeste has called on designer Chayse Dacoda and the
WYWO crew to transform their playroom into a stylish, manly, sporting space for Wade. Right now the room is inhabited by a yellow, blue and pink playhouse and a toy stage and kitchen; as it's a part of the upstairs landing, there's no privacy - not exactly a place Wade would want to bring his buddies to watch sports.
Chayse has some terrific ideas for the room, including building an entire wall from floating panels. She also has a huge build for Jason in carpentry and has dreamt up some wall art made of empty beer cans and a rather extraordinary dart board. But the question on everyone's lips is ... does Chayse really know what men want?
