Aaron and Jen had been dating for a year and a half when Jen got the surprise of her life. After a scavenger hunt that led Jen to Aaron's newly purchased house, she was directed to the threshold that separates the living room from the dining room. There, in inlaid mahogany spanning more than 6 feet, complete with an eye-popping font, were the words, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" Jen, through tears of joy, uttered the three words that were music to Aaron's ears!
That melody soon turned melancholy as Jen realized that Aaron had gutted every single room in the house and it would be unlikely the living room, the cornerstone of the house, would be complete by their spring nuptials. That's when she called
WYWO and sent Aaron packing on a "bachelor weekend" with his close friends, and our secret shooter.
To Jen's rescue comes designer Chayse Dacoda, supported by Evan, Jason and the
WYWO behind-the-scenes crew. Dacoda's mission is clear: Bring a clean "Mission" style look to this room, which lacks furniture, paint and molding, so that it can live up to its title, "Yes, I Will!" Unfortunately, hurdles and pitfalls abound — particularly in carpentry world, where Jason is swamped with work. As the hour of Aaron's return draws closer, Jen starts to panic — not about the marriage — but will her perfectionist fiance (an accomplished carpenter in his own right) actually like the room?
