Burning Man enthusiasts Athena and Atom are not your average couple, and they certainly didn’t want an average back yard. 

Athena, a stilt walker, and Atom, a musician and composer, wanted a backyard that would host their fantastical lifestyle.  So they decided to transform what looked more like a parking lot than a back yard into the psychedelic pages of Alice in Wonderland.  

Once again landscape architect John Cohen was called in for the challenge.  And after two weeks of tears, tantrums, and a few costly mistakes, hearts were mended and a wonderland was created.  Check out the drawing plans and behind-the-scenes photos.
