1. ELIGIBILITY: The TLC & Campbell’s® Home for the Holidays Original Recipe Contest ("Contest")
is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of
entry and have Internet access as of November 23, 2008. Employees, officers and directors of Discovery Communications,
LLC ("Sponsor"), its promotional partner Campbell Soup Company ("Campbell’s"), Promotion Mechanics, Inc. (“Contest
Administrator”), their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, TV production partners, advertising agencies, promotional
suppliers and the immediate family members (spouses and parents, children and siblings and their spouses, regardless of
where they live) or members of the same households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers and directors
(collectively, "Contest Entities") are not eligible, nor are professionals such as chefs, caterers, food editors, home economists,
dietitians or anyone who is or has been involved in the professional preparation of food or recipes for profit. All applicable
federal, state, and local laws apply. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.
2. TERM: The Contest begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on November 24, 2008 and ends at
11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2008 (“Contest Period”).
3. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Contest provides entrants an opportunity to share an original recipe
for a dish they make for friends and family during the holiday season and tell why this recipe is a family favorite. You may
enter as often as you wish, but each recipe and statement must be different, must meet all entry requirements and must be
submitted separately. Entrants will be competing for the chance to win a $1,000 cash prize.
4. RECIPE REQUIREMENTS: Each recipe must have a name, and ingredients in the recipe must be
provided in exact standard U.S. measurements. The recipe should include complete step-by-step preparation and cooking
instructions, cooking times and temperatures, number of servings, serving suggestions and any other pertinent information.
The recipe must be an original work that was created by the entrant and cannot have previously won a sweepstakes, contest
or other promotion. Previously published recipes (such as those appearing in major cookbooks, in magazines, in newspapers,
from food companies, publicized on the Internet, and winners in national contests) will be disqualified, unless the recipe
entered features changes considered significant by the judges. In addition, recipes must not have been awaiting publication or
submitted for publication consideration during the period of this Contest. The statement which describes why this recipe is a
family favorite may not exceed 75 words in length. Entries must be completed in English.
All entries, including the recipe, become the property of Sponsor; Sponsor is under no obligation to correspond about
entries nor will entries be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry at
any time in the event it is determined that the entrant has not complied with these Official Rules.
5. TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY:
• Provide all the information required, including full name, complete address, email address, telephone number and
date of birth and insert recipe and your written statement.
• Submit your entry so that it is received by Sponsor's server by 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2008. Sponsor’s
server is the official clock for this Contest.
Once submitted, entries become the sole property of Sponsor. No correspondence about the Contest will be entered into
nor will entries be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to decide if an entry is
appropriate for posting or publication, and may disqualify any entry, at any time, if it is determined, in the Sponsor’s sole
discretion, that the entry is not appropriate, or, that the entrant has not complied with these Official Rules.
Periodically throughout the Contest Period, TLC may, at its sole discretion, select recipes to be featured at TLC’s website.
Being so selected will have no bearing on whether a recipe submission is chosen as a winner once the Contest judging is
complete.
6. ASSIGNMENT: Entrants assign the Sponsor all rights of ownership, reproduction, and use of entries
for any purpose whatsoever without compensation or further permission, including but not limited to an irrevocable and
perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide right, in all media (now known or later developed) to assign, use, publish, edit, adapt, modify,
alter, reproduce, distribute, display, copyright, create derivative works, transfer or assign, or otherwise exploit entries, for
commercial or non-commercial use, and without compensation to the entrant. By entering the Contest, each Entrant waives
any and all rights he or she may have to the entry. To the extent Entrant has any rights in the entry, the entrant assigns all
such rights to the Sponsor by entering the Contest.
7. WARRANTY: Entrants further warrant and represent [a] that their entry does not violate any law or
regulation, [b] that their entry does not violate or infringe any right, of any third, including but not limited to intellectual property

organization will make you responsible for any legal action the legal copyright holder might take against you.
Any entrant may be required to obtain written permission and/or provide releases from anyone named in the entrant’s contest
submission, as necessary and applicable, as solely determined by Sponsor to post the entry and/or to otherwise use the
entry in accordance with the requirements of this Contest, and the advertising, promotion, and publicity of this Contest, and
Official Rules. The form of any such permission or release will be as solely determined by, or acceptable to, Sponsor. Failure
by Sponsor to request such permission(s) and/or release(s) is not a waiver of Sponsor’s right to require same, and entrant
(and entrant’s parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) acknowledges that failure to comply with any such request may
cause disqualification. By entering, entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Contest Entities from any action or liability
resulting from the publishing of his/her entry and/or use of the entry as otherwise permitted by these rules.
