When and where is your wedding?
 
Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 in Litchfield, Conn. We are really excited to be having a fall wedding in New England.  The foliage is incredible. It's such a beautiful time of year. We are getting married in a church, and our reception is at a banquet hall.  Hopefully, the weather will allow us to take a bunch of pictures outside!

How did you meet your fiance?
 
We met at a charity event to raise money for the family of a Connecticut firefighter who died in a motorcycle accident. We were both there to support a really good cause.

How did he propose? 
 
We went to Vermont for the weekend, and stayed at a bed-and-breakfast. Steve was planning on asking me on a hot-air balloon ride, but the weather didn't permit it. So, his backup plan was to hang this huge painted sign on the side of a cruise boat. The sign said, "Diana, Will you marry me?" It hung from the top of the boat down to the water. He led me up to it with my eyes covered, and had given our camera to some people who were watching. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said "Yes!"

What were you looking for in a gown?
 
I was looking for something classy and breathtaking. I want Steve to be in awe of me and the dress.

Did you know anything about gowns before you had to shop for one?
 
I knew a little about gowns prior to shopping. My best friend got married two years ago, and I learned a lot about weddings from her. I've also been reading bridal magazines since I was a teenager. I love weddings!
