Each week, three cake artists will go head-to-head in the ultimate cake competition. They'll have only nine hours to construct a cake over five feet tall and weighing hundreds of pounds. Host Michael Schulson and Judges Leigh Grode and Margaret Braun will weigh in with tough critiques, and in the end one cake will be chosen as the winner and named the ultimate cake!

  • Episode 1: Winter Wedding
    Veteran competitive cake decorators Mike Terry and Andrea Carusetta face off against newcomer Charity George to create the ultimate winter wonderland wedding cake. They'll have only nine hours to make their incredibly inventive and unique cake designs come to life. The end products all measure more than 5 feet tall and weigh hundreds of pounds!

    Episode 2: Top Dogs
    Returning Ultimate Cake Off champion Mike Elders and master cake builders Wayne Steinkopf and Christine Schnee compete to win the $10,000 prize and have their cake showcased in front of thousands of people at the American Kennel Club's prestigious Agility Invitational. The contenders have only nine hours to build a cake that has moving parts and stands at least 5 feet tall. The competition is tough, time is tight, the pressure is on … but there can only be one Ultimate Cake.

    Episode 3: The Nutcracker Sweet
    Two veteran cake artists -- John Auburn and Beryl Byrd -- along with newbie Anna Echols battle it out for the honor of having their incredible creation presented onstage at the Long Beach Ballet's annual performance of The Nutcracker. These contestants push the absolute limits of what is possible with cake. While two teams may have bitten off more than they can chew, one team has a squabble that could derail their shot at the $10,000 prize. Who will be able to overcome the challenges and win the Ultimate Cake Off?

    Episode 4: Really Sweet 16
    Master cake decorators Kathy Scott, Bob Brougham and Beth Ayala compete to make the ultimate birthday cake for a sweet 16 birthday celebration aboard the magical Scarlett Belle riverboat. While Beth and Kathy are newcomers, Bob is a returning competitor, seeking redemption after his cake collapsed last season. They'll have only nine hours to make their incredibly inventive and unique cake designs come to life. At the surprising and nerve-wracking judging ceremony, host George Duran and noted cake experts Margaret Braun and Leigh Grode weigh in with tough critiques as the three teams battle for the $10,000 prize. And in the end, a winner is crowned and their cake becomes the centerpiece of a young girl's dream birthday party.

    Episode 5: Griffith Observatory
    Cake decorating legend Colette Peters takes on past Ultimate Cake Off champions Norman Davis and Anne Heap as they compete to make an out-of-this-world cake for the Griffith Observatory’s 75th Anniversary. Colette has taught most cake decorators everything they know, but it’s her first competition in years, and Norman and Anne can’t wait to take her down. Their masterful creations will weigh hundreds of pounds and be over 5 feet tall. These incredible cakes will be judged by host George Duran, cake experts Margaret Braun and Leigh Grode, and the Griffith Observatory’s Dr. Ed Krupp.

    Episode 6: Vintage Hollywood Wedding
    Master cake builders Jan Kish and Sharon Zambito go head-to-head against returning Ultimate Cake Off champion Pat Jacoby. The decorators have only nine hours to create the winning cake for a vintage Hollywood themed wedding and take home $10,000 dollars.

    Episode 7: Monster Mash
    Ultimate Cake Off rookies, Christy Vega-Gluch and Mark Atwood, take on returning champ, Ashley Vicos, in a battle to create the ultimate cake in just 9 hours. Not only will the winning artist take home $10,000, but their cake will be showcased at the annual 'Monster Jam' monster truck competition in front of 40,000 fans. The contestants take the monster truck inspiration and run with it, creating three of the biggest cakes in Ultimate Cake-Off history. Our host George Duran and noted cake experts Margaret Braun and Leigh Grode have their work cut out for them as they determine who made the ultimate monster cake.

    Episode 8: Fairy Tale Wedding
    Returning champ Martha Hebert takes on newcomer Amelia Carbine and master cake artist Julie Bashore in a winner-take-all battle with $10,000 on the line, and the chance to present their cake at a fairy tale wedding reception in front of hundreds of people. Can Martha out-do her performance from last season? Will Julie's experience help her rise to the top? Will Amelia impress the judges and steal the competition? It's the most intense Ultimate Cake Off ever!
